Question
I was sexually abused from the time I was 9-16 by 3 uncles. They were family so I was scared to report it and still haven't. I am 17 and I have had sex with at least 15 guys, some of who my uncles forced me to have sex with. I am ashamed of myslef. I have no self respect. How do I get my self respect back??

I am so sorry that you have experienced this abuse, and for so long. I suggest you do tell a doctor, counselor, or another adult you trust and they can report it - to protect young people! The best thing you can do is to call RAINN 1- 800-656-HOPE or visit their website (www.rainn.org) and they will put you in touch with someone to talk to - 24/7 and it is confidential.
You have a long road worth of healing ahead, but you will feel better and learn how worth it you are! I promise! Do not give up on yourself!
