Question
i have to take my lip piercing out for a job. how long can i work before it starts to close? please answer this
Answer
There is no easy answer - it depends on how long you have had the piercing, and your particular body, health, and how long the jewelry will be out. If it is an established piercing without any infection, not wearing jewelry 8 hours a day is probably fine - just clean it well when putting in and taking out the jewelry, and maybe return to warm salt water soaks each day (for a couple of weeks) to keep it clean while adjusting to the new routine.
