    Question

I lost my virginity about a year ago, the first time I had sex I didn't bleed at all. I am with the same guy, but every time we have sex, it hurts, like I'm losing my virginity all over again. Someone told me that my hymen never broke, is that possible? and why does it hurt so much every time?

    Answer

If you have been sexually active for one year, it is high time you have a pap test, which tests for cervical cancer, and then get started on a reliable method of birth control. When your doctor performs the test, tell her your concerns and she can check things out. Good luck!
