Question
Hi. I am a 19 year old girl and I am virgin. I have a boyfriend whom I may have sex with in future. The problems is that we're scared that I bleed badly. And if I bleed we cannot get any professional help as it's sort of illegal to lose the virginity before marriage in Iran, where I live (my prarents are ok with that, so I have no problem losing it). So I want to know how we can realize that a bleeding problem may happen, what are the preventions and what we can do if it happens? (At home) Will I faint and can we stop it ourselves?
Thanks a lot
Answer
The bleeding at first intercourse is usually not more than a period, should stop with a day or two, and should not require medical help.
