Question
i am a 14 year old boy and i have been masturbating for around a year and half. but i feel like i am too secretive about it and i do not want to confront my parent about it to prevent an awkward situation. but i wish to feel more comfortable. should i confront my mother to say that i do it so i dont have to hide to do this normal activity?

I am not sure exactly what the question is, but at 14, there are probably a lot of things you and your parent(s) can and should be talking about, so start a conversation, see how comfortable they are, and ask your questions. I hope they are relieved that you want to talk with them - and good luck.
