    Question

My parents did not manage the family business in an appropriate way, and they are going bankrupt, and they are fighting there associates in courts.

I do not know if I should go back home and help them resolve this issue ... knowing that they blame society and business associates for the failure instead of their own bad business decision.

Or take care of my own business, life and studies, and give them only emotional support, detached business advice and let them fix their own problems.

Your advice will be worth gold to me ... thank you

    Answer

Dear 24 year old: It sounds like if you go back home to help your parents, there may be some conflict because you indicate that you think they have made some bad business decisions, but are blaming others. It does sound fine to give them emotional support, appropriate business advice, and let them learn from their own experience. You sound like you have plenty to do with your own business, life, and studies and I am sure they want you to be successful.
