Hi, Im an 18 year old female. Ive been on birth control for almost one year. Im almost in the middle of the pack so its a few days before my period. Ive been spotting blood the past fews days. This usually is not normal for me. Im also having unprotected sex, could I be pregnant or is it an infection?

You are right, it could be either an infection, spotting from the pill or a pregnancy. I think you are going to have to see your doctor.
