    Question

As awful as this sounds, 2 weeks ago i had sex with someone other than my husband. Well 10 days later i noticed spotting..like white discharge with brown in it. It was there for one day that's it. Then 3 days later it returned. It's been going on for 4 days now. This is not normal for me. I'm afraid of having some kind of infection. He does not have a doctor. Will my doctor write me a prescription for him as well? Or will they nor do that? If i was infected with something and slept with him can't we pass it back and forth? He wouldn't see a doctor. He refuses to see doctors anyway. HELP!

    Answer

It is very important that you go to your doctor or Planned Parenthood and get checked and treated. Yes, if you have something, and one partner is not treated, you will continue to get infected. If you have had sex with your husband, he will need to be treated, as well. Different clinics and doctors have different policies about treating all sexual partners - you will have to be honest and ask! P.S. The guy that infected you and will not see a doctor does not seem to care about you or your health!
