Question
My boyfriend and I just had sex for the first time. I felt like I had to urinate during and after we had intercourse. Is this normal for a virgin?
Answer
It may have been pressure against your bladder and perfectly normal, but since you are now sexually active, you should set up an appointment with your doctor or Planned Parenthood, and start on a reliable method of birth control. To do that, they will do a pap test, and during that vaginal exam, you can ask about your experience feeling like you had to urinate.
