How can i know for sure if my teen daughter is having sexual intercourse?
Answer
You cannot know for sure, but I bet if you asked her directly, because you were concerned about her health, wanted her to be protecting herself from pregnancy and disease if she was sexually active, and were willing to answer her questions and make sure she saw a doctor, that she would give you an honest answer.
Please think about what is important to you and your daughter, and be clear with her - tell her your values, expectations, and that you care about her. She may not make the choices you want her to, but how you handle that is up to you.
This is a very important time for you and your daughter to strengthen your relationship, or to guarantee that she keeps things from you. You have to trust each other and if that is difficult, maybe the two of you could go see a counselor together. Good luck!
