You can stop it at anytime just by taking it off your skin. Usually you wait until the 3 weeks are up and then take it off. You should have a period within several days of removing the patch, this will probably happen even if you remove it early.
Remember if you are planning to get pregnant we would like you to wait 3 months after you stop the patch, and take a Prenatal Vitamin that contains at least 400 mcg of Folic Acid (Folate).
