Question
I need help. when i was about 12 or 13, i started masturbating. I was just taking a bath one day washing my penis, and i felt this great sensation. I had masturbated with the soap. I did not know any better and i did that for a long period of time. I know better now. From masturbating with soap i got this rash on my legs and butt and penis that just wont go away, ever. I am afraid that i have an std. i wish i had known better then to do that. i was a young kid. now i have a girl im in love with and i dont want to have sex with her becausee im afraid ill give her something. im afraid to have sex with anyone and this has put my love life on hold. please tell me its not an std.

We cannot help with anything that is a rash or bump - those things need to be seen. I can say that you cannot get STDs from soap or masturbation. I think you should go see your doctor, get a physical exam, and talk about safer sex - that is a gift you can give the girl you care about.
