    Question

This question is asked, and although i've been through many forums and sites, never answered to my specific problem. My question is: When i pull back my foreskin (i am uncircumcised), the skin sometimes peels.. white.. i can rub it to peel it faster, but it keeps coming back. I read on semega and fungal infections, so i tried anti-bacterial soap (dish soap..) and it seemed to work...But now it's dry and peeling again, i DO wash regularity and with soap. Can you help? Something i can do on my own? I'd like to avoid talking to a doctor, because no itchiness or pain is involved, i hope and think it can't be too serious. Thanks

    Answer

Without an examination, it would be difficult to determine if you have a yeast infection OR if you are having mild irritation of the foreskin which is common in uncircumcised males. Retraction of the foreskin and gentle cleaning with mild soap and water may be beneficial. I hope this helps.
