    Question

are there any over counter treatments for daily vaginal discharge?

    Answer

There are many reasons why a woman might have daily vaginal discharge. First of all, there is normal or "physiologic" discharge--this is often light and doesn't have strong odor. Also, usually there aren't any symptoms of itching or pain with the discharge. There is no need for treatment for this, and in fact, some of the over-the-counter treatment (such as douches) might cause an infection rather than treating the discharge. Other reasons for a discharge might be a vaginal infection with yeast or bacteria. Both of these require different treatments and/or a prescription medication. I recommend that you make an appointment with your medical provider to make sure that you get the correct treatment.
