    Question

I'm 17 and i'm not ready to let my mom find out that i've had sex. I have to go to the gyno in a few months and my mom will go with me. She won't be in the room when i get the exam but if i ask the doctor not to tell my mom i've had sex, will they be able to since i'm not 18 yet?

    Answer

I am not sure what the law is in your state - so call your doctor's office before the appointment, talk to the nurse and ask your question. Good luck!
