Question
I'm 14 years old. I had been putting tampons in for a little bit, and one day i ran out. So, I used my friends, which was a different kind. I tried to take it out and skin (maybe it was the hymen..) was 'wrapped' around the tampon. I had to have my mom pull it out because i couldn't do it! It hurt when i pulled it out but then it was done. What happened? What should i do?
Answer
I am sorry that you sound scared - but there is nothing I can tell you via the Internet. You could go see your doctor and get an exam to make sure everything is OK inside your vagina, and she could see if your hymen was gone, but chances are good you are fine, and just need to use smaller tampons.
