    Question

ok, well i have like pimples on my vagina lips. but i dont get it, ive never had sex before and im not sexually active. im too scared to have sex. what is this? im so afraid. please help

    Answer

Since you have never had sex, the most likely cause of the bumps in your vaginal area are small, local infections from bacteria that are normal on your skin...like the pimples on your face. Another cause could be ingrown hairs (i.e. hairs that get trapped under your skin as they grow out, causing swelling, redness, and pain). You can use warm compresses 2-3 times per day, for 5-10 minutes at a time. However, if this does not improve the bumps over the course of 3-5 days, see your doctor for other suggestions.
