Question
Hi, I am a 19 yr. old female and very confused. I have always been physically attracted to girls since I was 13, but I do not like the idea of having sex with a girl. I'd be fine with holding hands, kissing, cuddling.. but nothing further than that. Does this mean I am not a lesbian? Do I need to have sex with a girl to truly find out? Thanks!
Answer
I think it is perfectly normal for all of us to enjoy physical contact with both males and females. Sexual orientation however, is usually what determines who we fall in love with, and therefore have sex with.
I would not just have sex with a girl to test yourself - it would not be the same. You will have to wait until you fall in love to know for sure. Try to be patient and relax.
