    Question

I'm a sexually active teenage girl, just got over a UTI about a month ago. I went to the hospital to get this treated and they asked me if I was having sex but I said no. They gave me medicine, the UTI went away. For as long as I can remember, my vagina has itched often and I've always had this thick white discharge. Now it sort of hurts when I have sex and afterwards, I have to pee really bad but it hurts and burns. Burning and painful urine comes only after I have sex. Help?

    Answer

Now it is time to tell the truth. Make an appointment with a doctor and/or Planned Parenthood and tell them what you just told me, and get an exam. They will screen for sexually transmitted infections and get you on a reliable method of birth control. Good luck!
