    Question

My friend had treated Chlamydia recently, she was shy to ask the doctor how long it takes for chlamydia to make a permament damage to her body, she thinks she had it about a year!

    Answer

There's no way of knowing exactly how long it takes Chlamydia to cause scarring of the fallopian tubes. If she didn't have any symptoms from the Chlamydia she is less likely to have had any damage.
