Question
hey im 14 never had sexual intercourse but i do masturbate. i think that people ask questions here for the simple reason that it's embarrassing especially having to tell your parents. for me it isnt the doctors that make me feel embarrassed, just telling family. anyway i know that many people say this, but i have small bumps on my penis. but they're skin colour and i think i have smegma. these bumps are affecting me cause i intend to do oral soon with my g/f. but she doesnt know yet and i cant let her till i know what they are and if they're say plus. i have just noticed a red swollen bump on my penis which is slightly painful to touch. i appreciate this site and all the work u guys do but i need help for i know inside me that i will prob not go to a doc. so i would seriously seriously seriously appreciate any light you could shed on the situation. i'll try and explain so you can give me an idea at the least. the small bumps go from the very bottom of the penis and stop about a centimeter up then continue at the head and they're all down the back of it as well. sometimes they have little white heads, sometimes they can be pulled off with tweezers. the red lump that just appeared today, well it is swollen on the back end of my penis and red. i think it may be possibly a pimple but the small lumps have been here as long as i can remember. there are loads and loads of them. plz plz plz plz even try to give me an idea of what is going on.
Answer
Chances are good that your penis is perfectly normal, but the reason we do not usually answer questions about bumps, lumps, and rashes, is that without seeing it, it is impossible to know for sure. Next time you see a doctor, just ask your parent for a little privacy and ask the doctor to have a look - then you will feel better.
