    Question

Hi, i'm just wondering if there is any link between bacterial vaginosis and thrush? Just over a month ago I had a discharge that smelt fishy after intercourse - this was diagnosed as BV. Now 5 weeks later I have a discharge again but is not the same as before. It is thicker and occasionally im a little itchy down there but not all the time. Im confused if this could be a yeast infection and if I should self treat of if it could be BV again??? And if I would get a diagnosis from the doctor again?

    Answer

I think you should go back to the doctor and make sure the BV was cured. Good luck.
