    Question

Is it normal to vomit while being on your period, and also having a fever..... while the cramping hurts like heck and bleeding way too much???

    Answer

You may be experiencing symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (often called PMS). Symptoms may include bloating, breast tenderness, mood swings, cramping, etc. Sometimes the cramping is so painful that patients will become nauseated and vomit. If you are feeling warm, you should check your temperature to see what it is. If it is above 100.4, this is considered a low grade fever. You should make an appointment with your physician to make sure that there are not other possible causes, especially if you continue to experience a fever. One possibility to rule out is pelvic inflammatory disease, which if caught early can be treated effectively.
