    Question

I heard that, even if you use STD treatments for an STD, that std(s) will still shorten your life. Is that true?

    Answer

Well, HIV is an STD and will not help you live longer, so that is true. As for the other STDS, particularly those treated with one dose of antibiotics, it is not true - if an STD is diagnosed and treated early, there should be no long-term effects.
