What is the most effective and safest way to clean your vagina?
Answer
One of the many amazing things about the female body is that your vagina does not need to be cleaned, unless you have an infection and the doctor tells you to do something specific.
Our vaginas clean themselves out with the naturally occurring bacteria and the discharge that all women have, and that changes based on our hormones. Douching is not recommended, and in fact, can be dangerous, forcing bacteria farther into your reproductive tract.
