Question
I have a red lump that's about the size of a marble on my vagina where the main bulk of my pubic hair is, it's underneath the skin so my skin is level on the surface. I haven't had sex for several months and it's just appeared. i do a lot of sport so figured it might just be a sweat spot, but it hasn't gone away after about a week and it's becomes progressively harder and extremely sore to touch. What could this be and how do i rid of it?
Answer
We cannot really do much about things like this without seeing them, but a hot compress may help the pain - a wet washcloth in the microwave for 2 minutes - wrapped in another towel if it is too hot. Hot baths may help reduce the size, too - try Epsom salt in the water. See a doctor if it does not go away. Good luck.
