    Question

Hi, I read somewhere that it is rare for teens to get PMS but i get a headache and breast tenderness a week or a few days before my period! Is this normal? (I got my first period about 15 months ago if that helps at all)

    Answer

I don't think PMS is rare in teens. I think most teens just don't realize the connection as quickly as you have. So this is totally normal. Regular exercise will often decrease your symptoms. If you drink a lot of coffee or eat a lot of chocolate you may notice that you symptoms get worse.
