Question
my son hasn't hole on the penis, he has a hole on the lower side of the penis where he throws his urine. he is a recently born. what is the defect? please help me.....
Answer
This condition is called hypspadias.
It is not a health risk to your child, but it may affect his sexual function and ability to father children as an adult. Hypospadias has various degrees of severity (depending on how close the hole is to the tip of the penis, and whether his erections are straight or bent). It can be repaired surgically, if the severity warrants repair. A urologist can help you decide.
