    Question

Is it not as important to use protection to prevent pregnancy in particular while on birth control (the Depo shot to be specific)? Is the possibility of getting pregnant while on birth control significantly less than it would be without it?

    Answer

Your Depo shot should be protecting you from pregnancy, but condoms should still be used to prevent sexually transmitted infections.
