Question
are oestrogen tablets harmful?
Answer
If you are talking about birth control pills, then generally the answer is no. If you have a history of a blood disorder, for example, a condition that increases risk of clot formation, you should not take ocps. Generally birth control pills are safe, but remember, they do not protect you against sexually transmitted diseases! You must wear a condom to be protected against stds. OCPs do not harm future fertility either.
