    Question

I have a small purple bump on the shaft of my penis. It looks almost like a swollen vein but when pushed on it feels like a BB almost. It doesn't hurt but it's been there for almost a week. What is it? What do I do?

    Answer

Yes, it could be a superficial blood vessel. It certainly doesn't sound like an infection of any sort. If it doesn't resolve, it would be good to get it checked by your family physician.
