    Question

Please help! I have been on the pill for 5 years and have been on yasmin for the last 3 of these years. I have been with my boyfriend for 9 months. both of us have been screened for STD's and were negative. I have not changed the way I take my pill e.g the time. i have not forgotten any pills and I have not shortened my 7 day break. However, my last two periods have arrived a day earlier than normal, e.g normally i start on a sat but the last two have both started on the friday. The periods have also both been heavier than normal. I finshed my last period on wed 14th and today and yesterday (16th &17th) I have had a discharge that I can only describe as snot. Sorry not very nice. It's quite thick gloops together in like a big ball and is a thick yellowy colour! I dont have any itching or pain. Although i do have dull ache every now and again in my tummy and top of my left leg. Is this anything I should be worried about? I very confident its not an STD! Many thanks

    Answer

Whether or not you are confident this is not a sexually transmitted infection, it warrants an appointment to have a clinician check it out! Good luck!
