    Question

i have been on the pill for over a year and i recently missed two pills to delay my next period. this made me have a small period like spotting in the middle of my cycle. i continued to take the pills as normal after this. can you tell me if i am definitely protected as i have had unprotected sex and do not want to get pregnant. thank you

    Answer

No, you are NOT protected!! This is exactly how people get pregnant who are taking the pill--even skipping for two days may allow you to ovulate and once you have ovulated you can get pregnant. Good Luck.
