Hi, I have been with my boyfriend now for 8 years. he is my fiancee and we tried multiple times to have intercourse and it is extremely painful. Is there a way I can have a gyno break the hymen and if she breaks it will it be still painfull the first time or will it be easier? can it be done with numbing the area where I won't feel a thing? thanks for your help in advance.

I think you are correct - an exam with an Ob/gyn or your family doctor is the perfect thing. S/he can do an exam and see what might be the problem and then discuss alternatives with you. Good luck!
