    Question

I have a question. I started my period in August. But then it skipped September and it started on the 31st of October. So then I got it like two weeks later, on the 22nd of November. It ended, but now there's this clear discharge, just like it was before my last period. Now I wonder if I'm gonna get it again, and it's only been a week!

    Answer

It is very common to have irregular periods (in other words, more frequent or less frequent than 1 month) in the first few years after starting your periods. It is also normal to have thin clear, white, or yellow discharge during other days of your cycle. However, if you are having a period every two weeks or sooner for 3 or more times, or if you are feeling dizzy, weak, or light-headed during or after your period, you should see a doctor to determine whether you need help regulating your periods with medications.
