Question
I recently lost my virginity, and I bled a good amount during and after sex. I don't think this blood is from my hymen, because the inside of my vagina feels like it has a bunch of paper cuts inside. Is it possible that the inside can tear a bit? Also if that is possible how long would it take to heal before attempting sex again?
Answer
This sounds painful and I suggest before you have intercourse again, that you are seen by a doctor - yours or one at Planned Parenthood. You will need a pap test and to start on birth control anyway, so make an appointment. Good luck!
