i have had a few sexual partners. in most cases i have used protection. i do shave around my vaginal area but i have recently not. whilst on the toilet i noticed a bump on the crease of my upper thigh and vagina, it is a bump the size of a baked bean maybe smaller. it is a purplush colour and it very irritating when i walk. it aches and rubs whilst i walk. should i be worried ? i know you cant give an exact diagnoses but please give me some general information. i am worried ?
There are several possibilities regarding the lesion you have described, depending on the location and physical appearance. If the mass is in an area where there is pubic hair growth, you may have folliculitis, or inflammation of the hair follicle, which can get infected and need drainage or antibiotics. It is critical that you protect yourself from sexually transmitted diseases with every sexual encounter. I would encourage you to see a physician to get some screening labs done for STDs and to help diagnose your lesion.
