    Question

I'm not sexually active and I've never had intercourse, but my boyfriend has fingered me a few times. when I go to the gynecologists for my yearly checkup, do I need to mention that? Does it matter that he has fingered me even though we are not having sex?

    Answer

Hopefully she will ask if you are sexually active and you can say, "no but my boyfriend has inserted his fingers," and then she will know that you are beginning to be active and need to think about birth control and protecting yourself from disease. Do not worry - she is there to help!
