    Question

I am 16 and I take the pill for period control. I would like to avoid having my period over a specific week (intense travel). If I stop the active pills three days early will my period come and go three days early? Or can I skip the inactive pills and therefore my period this month? Thank you!

    Answer

The better plan is to skip the sugar pills you take when you are usually having your period and just start a new pack. This will likely just skip your period. It would be a good idea to call your regular doctor and confirm that she thinks this is a good idea for you!
