Question
I'm 19 and have the coil. I've suffered with vaginosis I think twice, had antibiotics and been ok. But now I'm not sure as it doesn't seem like the same thing, and I think my boyfriend may be cheating on me. my discharge isn't discoloured or different, but I'm so worried about the smell. do you think it is the same thing? I'm worried about going to my doctor for a third time!!!!
Answer
The consequences of not treating BV are worse than seeing the doctor for the third time. Please make an appointment and be honest and direct with the doctor, and if this is a reinfection, have a long talk with the boyfriend, too. Your body is worth protecting!
