Question
Hi. I'm 16 and I am a virgin. I have been getting my period for about 4 and 1/2 years now. It used to be pretty regular but over the past 6 months or so it has been going crazy. The date that it starts each month is always different. In October I only got my period for 2 days, and now, in December, I had it for a week at the beginning of the month and it was gone for a few days, only for it to return for another week. Now I've been having a brown discharge that I at first mistook for my period again but I can tell that it is brown, not reddish at all...what's wrong?

Sounds like you need to see your doctor, tell her what has been happening, and let her help you figure out why your period has gone bonkers. Good luck!
