Question
Hi, I have been doing a lot of research on the subject of small white bumps on my scrotum and the shaft of my penis, that seem to be at the hair follicle. Everything I've seen tells me this is normal. Which is awesome and I'm happy its not STD related, even though Ive had them for quite some time. The only problems is that girls dont know its normal, hell I only did because I researched it. Now I'm guessing you are going to tell me to see a doc to have them checked out but like many other people my age, I dont have any health insurance. The build up now the question: how do I get rid of these little bumps without seeing a doctor. Ive read hydrocorizone helps them, something about the sebaceous glands. I dont want to get you in any legal trouble so maybe a simple yes that MIGHT help or no you are endangering yourself would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Answer
Yes, you are correct, go seek medical attention. We can't diagnose rashes or bumps over the internet or advise on treatment for symptoms we haven't evaluated.
A safe treatment would be to carefully wash the area with warm water, mild soap and gently scrub with a washcloth twice a day and see if the bumps improve.
You might try Planned Parenthood or the county for low cost medical care.
Good luck and sorry we can't treat over the internet. The issue is your health, not the legal risk.
