Question
A little while ago i noticed a redness around the outside of my vagina, and when i took a closer look i noticed tiny little white spots in large amounts. The spots can mainly be seen on the labia when stretched and around the labia. It rarely itches and i wouldnt have noticed it if i hadnt checked. It's not painful or burning just feels normal. Although I do have more discharge than usual. I am 14 years old and have not been involved in anything sexual at all. what could it be? Also slight discoloration of labia, it's now a purplish colour. I dont know whether this is normal or not please help!
Answer
Because you have had no sexual contact, chances are excellent that this is all perfectly normal for you! The best way to relieve your worry would be to see your doctor and have her look, too. Then, once you know what normal is, you can watch for changes.
