    Question

I am 16 years old and I am 8 months pregnant. I have a boyfriend that is with me and treats me good, he is 17. His family are real good people and it's a family I would want to be around with my baby. My mom is married but not to my real dad, he drinks and hits my mom, and sometimes my mom does not want me there and sometimes she does. I have been staying with my boyfriend's family for about a week because of x-mas vacation, but now my mom is telling me that they want to move to Texas and that I have to go. I dont want to go with them at all. I really want to stay with my boyfriend's family because it's a family I never had and it would be better for my baby. Do I have rights? do I have to go with them? I'm so comfortable with my boyfriend's family and they are willing to help me, but I just dont know what to do? Do I have to go with my mom when I dont want to? Thank you

    Answer

This is a legal question, not a health question, so I suggest you check this site out - it is called Teen Line: teenlineonline.org/content/view/75/200/. Good luck!
