    Question

Hi, I am 18 years old and since I was about 13 I have had hair follicles on the shaft of my penis and they are still continuing to spread. Is there anything that can be done to remove these embarrassing bumps? More importantly (I have searched the internet and found nothing on this condition) around the same time the bumps developed, I developed something like holes in the skin right under the head of my penis. they too seem to be slowly spreading. The "holes" secrete this waxy yellowish-white substance when sqeezed. I have never been sexually active and I am circumsized. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am pretty embarrassed about this (both the bumps and the holes) and I dont even know what kind of doctor to go to. Also I fear I may never have any sexual relationships... :(

    Answer

Your family doctor or pediatrician is the right place to start. The next time you have a physical exam, ask your questions and have him take a look. If there is a problem, he can refer you to a dermotologist or urologist, as needed.
