    Question

I am a teen and feel uncomfortable going to the Gyno with my mom. Is there a way I can make an appointment for myself and still have everything confidential? I want to get on birth control (not for sex but for my horomones) but my mom won't allow it. She thinks I want the pills for sex. Is there a way I can get birth control without her approval as well or does the guardian have to agree to that as well?

    Answer

There are seven Planned Parenthood Clinics in your city. You can find them here: www.plannedparenthood.org/. Just call and ask them if in you state you can come in for an exam and to get birth control without your parent. Good luck.
