Question

hi, im not 18 yet. i have my clitorial hood pierced and i am going to the gyno next month. does she have to tell my mom about the piercing?

Answer

The doctor does not have to tell your mom in CA, but I do not know what state you live in. My best advice is that you call your doctor's office and talk to the nurse - tell him or her that you have an upcoming appointment and want to know if what you talk about - or a piercing she will see - will be shared with your mom. Then you will know whether you want to see that doctor or if Planned Parenthood might be a better plan.
