    Question

My boyfriend's foreskin ripped a little while we were having a lot of sex about 5 weeks ago. It seemed to be ok after a few days and he was not experiencing any more pain. However, now the rip appears to have stretched into a small hole. What should he do? Will it heal itself? Is this normal?

    Answer

It will heal, but he shouldn't have sex until it does. It may take a couple of weeks. Is the skin too tight? Does he have trouble pulling the skin back to expose the head of the penis? If so, he should see a urologist and consider either some steroid cream to relax the skin, or consider a circumcision.
