    Question

i had sex 3 times this month and each time took the morning after pill. the first time i didn't take the pill until 2 days later. i am not on birth control, should i be worried?

    Answer

It is ideal to take the morning after pill within 72 hrs (3 days of intercourse), so it sounds like you took it in time. Studies have shown that it still can be effective (but higher failure rate) up to 5 days later. You should not be using the morning after pill as a source of birth control. You should be at least using condoms to protect from STDs as well. You may want to consider starting OCPs or Nuvaring as an effective birth control option.
