Question

I have a recurring rash on the shaft of my penis. I also have what looks and feels like a cut right under the head of my penis. they occurred the first time after having sex all night. When I woke up they were there, so I figured it was from friction. they went away completely. the next time I had sex (week or so later), they came back in the same places.

Answer

Any lesion, cut, or sore on the penis or vagina in a sexually active person should be evaluated by a health care professional.

Any attempt to diagnose over the internet, however reasonable it might be given the information, is only a guess and will not serve you very well. There may be parts of your personal health history or sexual activity that are not clear in the short message and only serve to delay accurate diagnosis and treatment placing you and your partner at risk.

Please seek help. You can go to Planned Parenthood for low cost services if you do not have health insurance.
